One of the most basic human needs is the desire to connect with another person.
Theater After Darkโs October offering Adults Only! explores that desire in its myriad facets, as filtered through the lens of relationships in the LGBTQ+ community. The program is comprised of readings of five, short, two-character plays โ examining different scenarios in which characters struggle to make those essential connections, and the obstacles encountered as they meet those challenges.
Budding relationships, failed relationships, and unexpected, awkward, and confusing relationships are explored in ways both lighthearted and serious, by ten talented local actors from African-American Collective Theater and Brave Soul Collective, in a program of risquรฉ, ribald, and slightly raunchy plays by Alan Sharpe.
All performances begin at 9:30 p.m.
