Music Director: One Mo’ Time
Micah Robinson is a well accomplished musician, carrying over 20 years of experience. Though he began his professional work as a child, he continued to formally develop his craft at the prestigious Howard University where he studied Jazz Voice and Composition. During his time there, he was featured in several premiere ensembles including a stint as student conductor of the internationally renowned Howard University Choir. Since then, he has built a career as a touring and recording musician supporting a wide range of well known artists including names like Bilal, Patti Austin, and even the American Pops Orchestra! He has also released a fair amount of music as an independent artist, most notably his debut album, “Love Story”. Most recently, he served as Music Director for the Anacostia Playhouse Production of ” The Me Nobody Knows” and has now formally joined the team at Anacostia Playhouse as a Music Consultant where he continues to work towards making a positive and lasting impact through art in various forms.
