We created our theater membership program with you in mind.  This membership is for our patrons who are interested in enhancing their theater experience while helping us further our mission and vision. By joining our theater society, you will be helping us continue the tradition of providing programming that is thought provoking, experimental, and thoroughly entertaining. 

Membership does have its advantages.  Members are provided a host of benefits for their $500 Contribution:

  • Behind the Scenes Look: Enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look of an Anacostia Playhouse production! Mix and mingle with staff and other creative team members and learn about the unique process of bringing Anacostia Playhouse’s work to life.
  • First Rehearsal: Sit in on the very first rehearsal of an Anacostia Playhouse production! Listen to the cast and creative team get together for the first time to introduce the show, read through the script, and present the initial design concepts. This exclusive preview is a great way to see the process from the very beginning.
  • Cast Reception: Directly following the First Rehearsal, you’re invited to a special dinner where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about our artists, directly from the source.
  • Opening Night Reception: Join us at the Opening Night performance followed by a reception in our lobby. Celebrate with us as we toast the cast and creative team – and, of course, our patrons!
